Thanksgiving Dinner, Small Fry or Big Fish?

The Holidays are here, & this week I literally forgot is the week that’s basically known as National Shopping week…

& my Family & I attempted to go to the Mall…

We leave this Wednesday for Thanksgiving in Disneyland, & my husband’s shoes were basically being held together by duct tape & hopes & dreams. So of course I knew we had to get him way better walking shoes to walk up & down Main Street, so we headed to the mall.

Oh my goodness… it was only Sunday… & the line just to park in the parking garage was to Timbuktu. I love to get Boba to drink while I walk the mall, & that line made me swerve right on by. My kid wanted to grab his favorite lotion from Bath & Body, & the amount of people in that little cramped store, that overly reeks of the peppermint candy cane forest, & my little pony farts… I lasted about 10 minutes before I had to get the heck outta there… the mall trip really had me wondering why am I doing this?!

I literally was just so proud that I bought our Disneyland Family T-shirts from a small business.

I was so happy when I bought all my new favorite wax bars, to make my home smell amazing for the rest of the season, from another Small Business I found on Etsy & now follow on Instagram, Fernwick Candles.

Why? Because my purchase did more then just provide me an item. It also, benefitted a family, our economy, & helped a small fish in a big pond.

This matters to me because I, myself am a small business.

The number one reason I will always do my best to support us Small Fry Businesses is because my profit goes further than just one momentary item.

Shopping Small may help put food on the table, it help’s a business grow, it support’s my local community, majority of the time I receive way better customer service, I also find unique items that no one else may have. .

Yes, I know Mall’s, Walmart, Target make shopping easy, but for me I love when my money goes further. I love when my money serves a purpose for multiple reasons. So this year I am doing my best to support the Small Businesses.
