Winter is Coming…
Okay, real story I love any chance I can quote Ed Stark from Game of Thrones… & this morning I woke up & immediately grabbed my coziest blanket because BOY was it cold! Now if you know me, you know how much I LOVE the ‘Ber months. I love rain, cloudy, windy, blustery days. So then I realized oh snap I need to let my readers know what I do to prep for the winter months.
1.) Book my hair & nail appointments out: The reason why is I don’t want to leave any room for damage to my extensions. So I need to schedule my appointments so they don’t conflict with any events or engagements. Also, every single time I have not done this, I end up begging for the next available spot & hoping & praying I can get in, especially with my busy schedule.
2.) Restock on Products & Hair Supplies: Sure enough last night I realized my bottles of pretty much everything was gettin’ low…
You know that feeling when you think you still have a ton of product but yet you grab the bottle, & your arm immediately flies through the air because it’s so light… & if you’re in the shower it gives a split-moment heart attack that you’re going to spontaneously have a slip in slide in your shower…
Well stock up now before you have the added Thanksgiving grocery bills, & Christmas shopping… I’ll be grabbing my keys here in a sec to do exactly that. Yesterday, I ran to TJ Maxx to get new headbands, scrunchies & a new wet brush! (Of course Disney themed…)
3.) Plan Hair Treatments: I love colder weather, but one thing I always, forget is that colder weather = heaters on. Heaters can dry out your hair A LOT. So, give your self some needed self care during the busy time of year, & make sure to add a good conditioning treatment to your sessions.
The holiday time is stressful enough, its awesome, & my favorite time of year… but make it a little bit easier on yourself, & save yourself some money, & stress start now. I know I am… & of course you know I love ya… so I’ll make it easy for you to book & shop from here.. links below!
